Horse Serum
[RM10436] RM10436 is horse serum collected from controlled donor herds. It is a cost effective alternative to fetal bovine serum and supports growth of most mammalian cells. Horse serum also contains certain additional growth factors than other animal sera.

ES Cell tested
[RM10435] RM10435 is stringently validated for its ability to support embryonic stem cell culture, colony formation and cell morphology while preventing adverse differentiation. RM10435 is sourced in countries approved for import into the European Union by European Commission. Currently this includes Central and South America, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Fetal Bovine Sera, Research Grade
[RM10434] Fetal bovine serum is collected from approved abattoirs in USA. US Origin FBS is considered the world’s standard for quality and is one of the most widely used serum in the world.

Fetal Bovine Sera, Research Grade [RM10432]
[RM10432] Fetal bovine serum is sourced in Brazil which is approved for import into the European Union by European Commission. The serum is collected and processed in facilities registered and inspected by the competent authority in the country of origin.

New Born Calf Sera [RM10422]
[RM10422] New Born Calf Serum is processed from calves that are 3-10 days old. It contains higher levels of proteins and immunoglobulins and less growth factors than Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). It is a cost effective alternative to FBS and can be used for culturing most mammalian cell lines. It has proved to be an efficient growth promoter in 3T3 cells (mouse fibroblasts).

Charcoal treated
[RM10416] RM10416 is charcoal treated fetal bovine serum, charcoal treatment involves filtering chilled serum through an activated charcoal adsorbent filter. Charcoal stripping is the most effective method for removal of endogenous steroids from the serum. It removes non-polar factors present in the serum, such as, viruses, hormones, certain growth factors, cytokine and several other lipophilic substances. Charcoal treatment may lead to reduction in growth promotion ability of serum, particularly for the cells that require stripped compounds.

Pig Serum [RM10415]
[RM10415] Pig serum is collected from animals younger than 1 year old. The constituents of human blood and porcine serum are similar, hence porcine serum is found to be very useful in lymphocyte culture work as well as in chromosome banding studies involving lymphocyte culturing.

Fetal Bovine Sera, Research Grade [RM10409]
[RM10409] RM10409 is heat inactivated fetal bovine serum. Heat inactivation is done to destroy heat labile components such as complement that can lead to complement mediated cell lysis. Complement proteins, antibodies and enzymes present in the serum are inactivated by heat inactivation.
