[AL247A] Leibovitz’s Medium was specifically designed to grow cells in a CO2 free atmosphere. The medium can be used to grow human tumor cells and embryonic cells and also established cell lines like HeLa and Hep-2. The medium is frequently used in diagnostic virology where tissue cell lines or strains need to be grown in closed systems. Leibovitz’s medium obviates the need of frequent medium change. AL247A is 2X concentrate with L-glutamine.

[AL230A] Iscove's Modified Dulbecco's Medium(IMDM) is an enriched modification of Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium wherein serum can be partially or totally replaced by chemically defined substances. The medium when appropriately supplemented supports good growth of precursor cells of erythrocytes and macrophages. The medium also supports good growth of T and B lymphocytes and a variety of hybrid cells under serum free or reduced serum conditions. AL230A contains L-glutamine, 25mM HEPES buffer and sodium bicarbonate. It does not contain glucose and sodium bicarbonate.

[AL226] CMRL media are based on the composition of Medium 199. CMRL 1066 Medium with sodium bicarbonate. It does not contain L-Glutamine and Phenol red.

[AL223S] RPMI 1640 medium is extensively used for a wide range of anchorage dependant cell lines. The medium is known to support growth of cells both in presence of 5-20% FBS and in absence of FBS. AL223S contains 2mM L-glutamine, 10mM HEPES Buffer, 4.5gms per litre glucose, 1.5gms per litre sodium bicarbonate. It does not contain sodium pyruvate.
